In 2016, ISFA signed an agreement to establish an official chapter of ISFA in China, designed to help Chinese fabricators get access to the types of information already available in the United States and other areas of the world. The ISFA expansion is in response to the fact that the use of solid surface and quartz surfacing as countertops surfacing materials in China are in rapid growth mode.
The agreement represents an opportunity to improve worldwide surfacing standards, while expanding the reach of the association and improving funding opportunities. ISFA China is now translating Countertops & Architectural Surfaces magazine into Chinese and is hoping to import American made products into China for use by Chinese member fabricators.
The relationship extends for 3 years, and includes a path for renewal. It has opened the door for similar agreements with other countries whose surfacing industries are in the development stage. For more information, contact Jackie Mok of ISFA China at email@example.com
