Gettysburg, PA - ISFA Solid Surface Industry Roundtable

Solid Surface fabrication is alive and well, and projected to grow through 2027!  Join us for an ISFA Solid Surface Industry Roundtable event hosted by A.S.S.T. August 13th-15th, 2019.  We’ll tour the A.S.S.T. fabrication shop, spend time in Roundtable style discussion focused on Commercial Solid Surface needs, best practices, and opportunities.  If you manufacture, fabricate, distribute, or participate in the Solid Surface Industry in any way, you won’t want to miss this unique and special ISFA Roundtable!  A.S.S.T. is also located a convenient 20 minutes from Gettysburg, PA, so we’ll also fit in a fun ghost tour and evening out together exploring historic Gettysburg, PA.  Register today to reserve your spot!  Join us in Gettysburg, PA in August to receive education from industry professionals and engage in meaningful dialog with industry peers.

Commercial Solid Surface projects can be won in a multitude of ways.  From public or private bidding processes, to Casework/Millwork relationships, to architect and designer referrals, the possibilities are endless.  As a group, we’ll compare notes on close rates by sales process.  *Kevin Casterline will kick off this conversation by sharing his unique and clever strategies*

You’ve mastered countertops, sills, components, and done a few reception areas.  What do you need to do to break into the bigger projects with exteriors and wall cladding and design elements?  *Russ Berry will kick off this conversation by sharing his experience in working with the A&D community*

Helping the Design Process through Education
While solid surface arguably has the least amount of limitations for fabrication, it does still have limitations.  In this segment, we’ll discuss pain points we’ve experienced through quoting, building, and delivering solid surface projects.  The information gathered will be used to create an educational video for the A&D community.

Commercial Solid Surface fabrication is largely measured against AWI specifications and QCP.  We’ll discuss the specifications required along with the methods and processes for measuring and ensuring accuracy and quality.
