ISFA Certified Professional Fabrication Solid Surface Training

Program Overview:

The ISFA Solid Surface training program for our members is designed to meet the needs of your business. Basic fabrication instruction includes Product Orientation, Safety, Tooling, Fabrication & Installation. More advanced instruction includes Manufacturer’s Fabrication/Installation Requirements. This training program is approved by all major solid surface manufacturers.

Program

2 1/2 day (50% Classroom, 50% Shop)

Includes product knowledge, handling, inspection, safety, tooling, shop layout, templating, material layout, cutting, seaming, edge treatments, sink & bowl mounting, cutouts, backsplashes, thermoforming, finishing, basic repair, installation, support, overhangs and inlays.

Dec 1 - 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Dec 2 - 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. with instructor supervised extra practice time after lunch until 3 p.m.

Cost

• Our training programs are for ISFA members so joining the association is required to register for training.   Non-members, who register for this training, are currently offered a 1-year discounted membership (savings of $299 over the normal $499 annual fee)
• $995 member  /  $1195 non-members 

Session Completion

• Attendees will become ISFA Members and will receive all benefits of the association.
• At the completion of the training, attendees receive a certificate in their name that is accepted by solid surface manufacturers.
• Attendees receive clings for the vehicle to designate them as “ISFA Certified”

COVID Observances:

• Space is limited to 10 due to COVID protocols
• Masks are required at all times
• Physical distance will be maintained
• Temperatures will be taken and COVID questions will be asked each morning
• Gloves and hand sanitizer will be onsite
• All TX laws related to COVID will be observed

 Cancellation Policy:

• Refunds for class registration will be made if training is required to be canceled for local COVID issues.
• Refunds for class registration will be made for anyone experiencing COVID systems that must not travel or attend.
