Some call it work about work — the unsexy but critical parts of running a business: Human Resources and Insurance. Zzzz ... Are you still with us? Yes, we know the exciting stuff happens on the shop floor, but none of that would be possible without good organizational infrastructure, policies and the securities that safeguard your business from risk. Human Resources can be daunting; following and implementing the correct policies at the federal and state levels is no easy task. To ensure you and your employees are protected, Wendy Christie, owner of EmployerESource, will break down five things you need to keep at the top of your list to be compliant and competitive. When it comes to protecting your investments, your employees and your business, Marc Rosenkrantz, president of Schechner Lifson Corporation, will provide an overview of insurance policies that can help you sleep at night. (Spoiler alert: pollution insurance!) So grab a coffee and join us for the May MemberConnect meeting, a virtual session that connects you with the information you need to troubleshoot your business and stay ahead of the curve.
