2026 -2027 Fabricator Membership Renewal

This Year Has Been a Turning Point

Things are moving fast in our industry and not always in ways that protect shops like yours. That’s exactly why ISFA has been working harder than ever.

What We’ve Built in 2026

In 2026 alone, ISFA has:

What Your Membership Is Actively Funding Right Now
  • A national licensing standard so everyone plays by the same rules
  • Federal and state-level advocacy for fabricators
  • Support for shops running safe operations and taking care of their people

This work is real, and it’s happening now. Your membership helps make it happen.

Beyond Dues: The Fabricator Safety Initiative

Legislative & Advocacy Funding Effort

Your membership dues help support ISFA operations — but the legislative fight requires more.

We’ve raised $1M toward our $1.7M goal for the Fabricator Safety Initiative (FSI). This funding goes directly toward:

  • Completing the national licensing standards — federal, not just state-level, and covering all products
  • Independent lobbying on H.R. 5437 — in its current form, the bill provides lawsuit protection for manufacturers and distributors
  • State-level representation for fabricators
  • Responding to engineered stone regulations — a large portion of our industry does the countertop and surface manufacturing of this material. This is not an endorsement of the material, but a reality that our shops must have a voice in how decisions affect their business.
  • Legal support to protect your business and workforce
  • Expanding our team to deliver more training, develop industry standards, and drive meaningful change

Why This Matters Right Now

  • H.R. 5437 is moving. Decisions are being made today and we need to protect our interest.
  • Licensing is close to the finish line.
  • Engineered stone rules could reshape how we all do business.
  • Shops are facing growing legal pressure around their workforce.

If this doesn’t get funded, shops cutting corners will keep underbidding the ones doing it right — hurting safety, your people, and your bottom line.
