The group advises ISFA’s Board of Directors regarding issues and concerns affecting them related to the surfacing industry.

  • Provide input and guidance on opportunities for Associate Partner members to help move the surfacing industry forward by providing thought leadership, education, and training for fabricators.

  • Review/comment on current and proposed membership, sponsorship and advertising opportunities for Associate Partner members in a constructive, thoughtful and positive manner.

Volunteer Roles and Expectations

Volunteers are expected to commit their time by actively participating in committee meetings and contributing thoughtfully to discussions. If a volunteer cannot attend a scheduled meeting, they should promptly inform their staff liaison. Additionally, volunteers are required to travel and attend the in-person meeting held at the ISFA Annual Conference to collaborate directly with fellow members and leadership.

Time Commitment

Committee meetings are typically held virtually on a bi-monthly or quarterly basis, providing flexibility while maintaining consistent progress. Attendance at the in-person meeting during the ISFA Annual Conference is expected to foster stronger connections and facilitate key decision-making. Occasionally, additional meetings may be scheduled as committees work on specific projects or tasks that require more focused attention.
