Instructions
Please read all the information on this page and complete the application with the requested details. If selected as a presenting speaker, the information you provide may be used in brochures, flyers, emails, online and other promotional channels at the association’s discretion. Proof of prior speaking engagements may be requested (e.g., video recordings, published articles, letters of recognition, evaluations). Submit a separate proposal for each topic or presentation.
Proposal Review
Submissions will be reviewed by the Event Committee. Unless otherwise noted, your proposal will be considered for all speaking opportunities.
Programming
Events are offered both virtually and in person, providing a variety of formats to share valuable industry insights.
Virtual events are scheduled around timely, hot-topic industry issues. These typically include a 45-minute presentation followed by a 15-minute Q&A.
In-person events include:
Fabricator Forums: Feature 45-minute to one-hour presentations with Q&A on relevant business and industry topics.
Fabrication Innovation Workshops: Focus on practical demonstrations and interactive, hands-on learning.
Annual Conference: A three-day event built around education, connection, and industry awareness. It includes a one-hour keynote, along with additional presentations, panel discussions, and breakout sessions that vary in format and length based on content.
All in-person events include dedicated networking opportunities.
Publicity
To promote these events, we publicize through various media partners. Event titles and descriptions my be adjusted to better engage audiences and rive attendance. The association reserves the right to contact media outlets of our choice and it not responsible for content changes made by external media partners.
Speaker Fees
As a nonprofit organization, we seek partnerships with subject matter experts on a variety of topics. In exchange for sharing your expertise, we offer increased visibility and valuable connections with key industry decision-makers. Most speaking engagements are unpaid. Details about arrangements will be discussed upon selection.
Presentation Materials
At the end of the application, you'll be asked if we can share your presentation materials (slide deck, handouts or other resources) with members or event attendees. These are often requested before or after events for reference and may also be shared with members unable to attend.
