Program Overview
Advance Your Solid Surface Expertise
The Solid Surface 201: Advanced Techniques Training program is designed to take experienced fabricators beyond foundational fabrication techniques and into the more specialized processes required for advanced solid surface applications. This intensive, hands-on course helps participants refine their craft, strengthen their technical knowledge and confidently approach more complex projects.
Participants explore the formulas, planning methods and fabrication processes behind successful thermoforming while completing a practical project from start to finish. The course also emphasizes knowledge transfer, helping experienced fabricators bring new techniques and training resources back to their shops.

How the Training Works
Participants work hands-on through the planning and completion of an advanced thermoforming project. Instruction covers the calculations, material behavior, mold preparation and fabrication methods needed to successfully form solid surface materials into more complex shapes and applications.
Experienced instructors guide attendees through each process while explaining shrinkage, mold design, CNC integration and practical troubleshooting. Participants are encouraged to evaluate each technique and consider how it can be applied and taught within their own shops.
Who Should Attend
This advanced course is intended for experienced solid surface fabricators who already understand foundational fabrication methods and are ready to take on more technical applications or greater leadership responsibilities.
