This ISFA Professional Solid Surface Fabrication Training program is the gold standard course for fabricating solid surface. The program is recognized by all major manufacturers and their network of fabricator partners.
This hands-on, two-day session equips fabricators with the technical expertise, creativity, and confidence to elevate their craft through thermoforming. Designed for experienced fabricators and shop leaders, Thermoforming 201 provides in-depth instruction on heating, bending, and shaping solid surface materials to achieve both stunning design and superior performance. Attendees will gain first-hand experience with specialized equipment and tools while learning techniques to improve efficiency, minimize waste, and expand design capabilities.

| 8:30 AM - 10:00 PM | Classroom session & Facility Tour Begin with an overview of solid surface materials, thermoforming principles, and the scope of the hands-on project. Then transition into a guided tour of ASST’s fabrication areas, equipment, and mold-making stations to see the concepts in action. |
| 10:15 AM - 12:00 PM | Hands-On Instruction & Thermoforming Project Kickoff Begin the practical portion of the training with guided instruction and team-based fabrication. Attendees will dive into thermoforming projects, including mold setup, substrate prep, and application techniques. |
| 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM | Q&A + Lunch Enjoy a complimentary lunch, included with your training registration. |
| 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM | Continued Hands-On Fabrication Teams return to the shop to continue building out their thermoforming projects. Instructors will provide support and guidance as attendees work toward completing as much as possible before Day 2. |

| 12:30 PM - 1:00 PM | Lunch & Closing Reflections Enjoy a complimentary lunch while engaging in group discussion, sharing reflections, and participating in a final Q&A. Certificates of Completion will be presented by ISFA and the ASST Team to celebrate your achievement. |
