The ISFA Certified Solid Surface Fabrication Training Program is a 100% hands-on, 1.5-day course designed to give fabricators real-world experience working with solid surface materials. Rather than simply observing demonstrations, participants actively fabricate projects while learning proper techniques, tooling, safety practices, and industry best practices in accordance with manufacturer warranty guidelines.
Throughout the training, attendees will gain practical experience across every stage of the fabrication process, including:
- Layout and templating
- Seaming techniques
- Proper support methods
- Stacked edges and radius fabrication
- Cutouts
- Coved backsplashes
- Installation best practices
- Repair techniques
As part of the course, participants will complete a full vanity application featuring an integral bowl sink, drop edge, set-on backsplash, and professional sanding and finishing techniques—providing a finished project that reinforces the skills learned throughout the training.
Whether you're new to solid surface fabrication or looking to refine your craftsmanship, this instructor-led training builds the confidence, consistency, and practical skills fabricators can immediately apply in the shop.
Session Completion
Participants who actively engage in the training and successfully complete the fabrication project will receive an ISFA Certificate of Completion, recognizing their successful participation in the Certified Solid Surface Fabrication Training Program.
Please note: It is recommended that attendees do not schedule departing flights before 6 pm to allow time for questions and additional training.
