Amy Miller is an experienced professional in the Surfacing Industry.  Prior to becoming the ED for ISFA, Amy was Director of Business Development for The L.E. Smith Company, a large regional fabricator located in Northwest Ohio.  While at L.E. Smith, Amy served on the Board of Directors for ISFA, as well as The Home Depot Service Provider’s Governance Council.  In addition to her work at ISFA, Amy is active in several other Non-Profit endeavors including The Bryan Area Foundation, Power in the Purse (A Women’s Giving Circle), Junior Achievement, Newlyn-Quest Club, and her Church.  Amy is also the blogger/creator of graceandmimi.com, and she loves being married to her high-school sweetheart, raising their 2 boys, and long distance running.


 
Kevin Cole

Kevin Cole has been a journalist for nearly 25 years, specializing in manufacturing and fabrication for 20 of those. He has degrees in the Arts, Communications and English from Carl Sandburg College and Illinois State University. Kevin began his career as a newspaper reporter, then moved into the trades working for the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association International. He has worked for such publications as THE FABRICATOR, Cutting Tool Engineering, SolidSurface Magazine and Surface Fabrication, among others, and has a solid grasp of the surfacing industry and issues affecting it. His current role is as ISFA’s Communications Director, where he works to keep the industry informed and serves as Publisher & Editor for ISFA’s Countertops & Architectural Surfaces magazine.

Carol started with ISFA in early 2015 and is responsible for association financials, education and training programs.  Previously, she was a Marketing Director for Diageo - Guinness North America managing a beer portfolio and with The Quaker Oats Company in both marketing and sales.  She and her family relocated to Pittsburgh, PA from Chicago, IL.

Chris Pappenfort
Solid Surface Fabrication Trainer

Chris has over 30 years of industry experience.  He served as the Technical Services Manager for a DuPont Surfaces distributor for 25 years.  During his tenure, he obtained instructor certifications for numerous solid surface products.  In addition, he upgraded DuPont's fabrication and installation manuals.  He has conducted ISFA Solid Surface training - both classroom and onsite -- since 2014.

Fred Hueston is a nationally known consultant and the founder of Stone Forensics.  He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Physical Science (Limnology) from the University of Central Florida.  He is a certified master stone craftsman and Architectural Conservator, a member of ASTM (American Society for Testing Materials) C-18 committee. He is a Technical Editor for Stone World Magazine and instructor for Certified Marble and Stone Inspectors via IICRC and has appeared on several television shows including The Discovery Channel, HGTV and several local talk shows.
