Gemstone Introduces Three New Solid Surface Colors to Align with Evolving Industry Trends Manufacturer Updates Sink and Shower Pan Palette, Adding Modern Hues and Refining a Favorite
Elkhart, IN – December 10, 2025 – Gemstone, a leading manufacturer of solid surface sinks and shower pans, today announced a major update to its color palette, introducing three new options and streamlining its existing line. The changes, effective January 1, 2026, are driven by the need to better coordinate with the evolving solid surface sheet colors offered by OEMs and distributors nationwide.
“After years of maintaining the same core sink colors, the proliferation of new and amazing solid surface sheet designs necessitated an update,” said Jeffrey Smith, Gemstone’s Sales and Marketing Manager. “We wanted to give our customers sinks and pans that better coordinate with the current high-demand color families.”
The palette update includes the introduction of two brand-new colors and a refined replacement for a popular classic:
- Dusk: A modern neutral featuring appealing gray and subtle taupe tones, enhanced with a degree of translucency for added depth.
- Dawn: A slightly brighter hue than Dusk, offering creamy undertones complemented by a gentle hint of gray.
- Dove: This color directly replaces the popular Pearl Gray. While very similar, Dove is slightly lighter and has been specifically refined to better coordinate with a broader range of contemporary gray-toned materials
Palette Streamlining
To make way for the new additions, Gemstone is discontinuing two colors that have fallen out of trend: Antique and Cream. Additionally, Pearl Gray will be officially retired and replaced by the improved Dove color.
Gemstone manufactures all of its solid surface sinks and shower pans in its updated stock color palette at its manufacturing facility in Elkhart, IN, USA. Custom colors are available for large-volume projects.
