ISFA Celebrates Industry Excellence and Unveils 2026 Goals at Annual Conference

Phoenix, AZ — November 2025 — The International Surface Fabricators Association (ISFA) proudly celebrated the success of its 2025 Annual Conference and Awards, hosted in Phoenix, Arizona. With recent record attendance from fabricators, suppliers, partners, and industry guests, this year’s event marked a milestone in ISFA’s continued mission to strengthen and unify the countertop and surface fabrication community.
The conference featured educational sessions, shop tours, leadership meetings, and a lively awards ceremony that honored fabricators demonstrating excellence, craftsmanship, and innovation in surface fabrication.

ISFA also announced plans to revamp and expand the ISFA Awards Program for 2026, with new categories recognizing innovation, sustainability, and safety leadership. The updated program will be unveiled in the coming year as part of ISFA’s continued commitment to celebrating excellence worldwide.
Introducing ISFA’s 2026 Plan: Building a Stronger Future
During the conference, the ISFA Board of Directors and staff presented an ambitious 2026 Goals built around five pillars of success:
Membership & Community Growth, Safety & Regulatory Compliance, Education & Workforce Development, Advocacy & Standards, and Industry Relations & Insights.
Highlights include:

Launching the ISFA Connect™ app, a real-time collaboration platform for members and the countertop and surface industry.

Rolling out ISFA Academy™, a comprehensive online training network offering over 2000 course that can support future apprenticeship and certification programs, plus give our Associate Partners an evergreen opportunity to participate.

Developing new Guidelines for Fabrication Contractors and Shop Licensing Standard and Shop Accreditation Program aligned with ISO 45001 and ANSI requirements to support the 2nd year of the Fabricator Safety Initiative.

Applying for ANSI Developer Status to strengthen industry-led standards development.

Expanding partnerships with the Natural Stone Institute (NSI), Rockheads, SFA, SESA, Artisan Group and All-Slab Fabbers to align advocacy, training initiatives and unification of the countertop and surface fabricator industry.

Establishing the American Countertop Manufacturers Council (ACMC) — a formalized body ensuring every countertop and surface fabricator has a voice in shaping industry policy, for ISFA members and nonmembers.
“These goals position ISFA to lead with purpose — promoting safety, craftsmanship, and unity across our trade,” said Weber. “We’re not waiting for change; we’re building it together.”
