ISFA Partners with Natural Stone Institute to Advance Silica Safety Resources

The International Surface Fabricators Association (ISFA) is proud to partner with the Natural Stone Institute (NSI) on the release of a new medical surveillance guidance document designed to support fabricators in monitoring health risks related to silica exposure. This important resource is available in both English and Spanish, helping shops of all sizes better protect their teams.

Looking ahead, ISFA is continuing to collaborate with NSI on the development of additional silica safety resources, including new guidelines on air respirator selection and studies evaluating silica safety best practices through employee air sampling and medical surveillance data. These initiatives reflect our ongoing commitment to promoting a safe, healthy work environment for fabricators across the surface industry.
