Fabricator Safety Initiative (FSI) Legislative & Advocacy Funding
2026 Sponsorship Packages | FSI Lobbying and Advocacy Fund
To finalize the national licensing standard, sustain independent Congressional lobbying on H.R. 5437, respond to the engineered stone safeguard finding, and expand the FSI team that represents your shop.
Why This Moment Is Critical
H.R. 5437 Needs Independent Fabricator Voices Now
This House bill is advancing. Manufacturers and distributors have their own lobbyists. Countertop and surface manufacturing shops and the trade of fabrication need representation that answers only to them, not to the supply chain.
Our ability to amend H.R. 5437 in your favor depends on maintaining our independent lobbying presence on Capitol Hill right now, while the bill is moving.
Licensing Standard — Final Development Phase
We are in the final phase of developing the national Countertop & Surface Manufacturing Licensing Standard. Completing this work requires dedicated funding staff, legal and state coordination, and regulatory engagement. Your contribution directly accelerates this.
Engineered Stone Safeguard — Ongoing Guidance & Advocacy
The safeguard finding will change the import landscape for engineered stone. FSI is preparing our community with the tools, training, and communication they need — and continuing to participate in proceedings. This takes legal resources.
Other issues the American Countertop Manufacturing Council (ACMC) needs to address
Plaintiff Attorney Harassment of Our Workforce
We are actively addressing attorneys who are targeting and pressuring employees in the fabrication trade. This is a legal fight that requires engagement, documentation, and funding. Our team is on it but they need support.
A few other industry issues will be submitted to ACMC for review.
⚠ Important: Lobbying Contributions Are Not Tax-Deductible. Unlike your membership dues, contributions directed specifically toward legislative lobbying, including our H.R. 5437 campaign, Congressional engagement, and lobbyist fees, are not deductible under federal law. FSI will provide a written acknowledgment of any additional contribution you make, clearly noting the non-deductible status. We believe in full transparency for the 2026 tax season.
Additional Lobbying Support — Your Options
Choose the level that works for your shop. Every dollar goes directly to the legislative fight. All options available as a single lump sum or spread across monthly payments — whichever works best for your cash flow.
