A Letter from the CEO

Important ISFA Updates, Opportunities & Upcoming Deadlines

Dear ISFA Members and Industry Partners,

There is a lot happening at ISFA as we close out 2026 and prepare for the year ahead. From industry advocacy and our Annual Conference to membership voting and new programs, I want to make sure you are aware of the opportunities and deadlines that matter most.

Our mission remains clear: protecting our industry, supporting fabrication businesses and creating opportunities for our members to succeed.

Licensing: Your Voice Matters

There has been considerable discussion about fabrication shop licensing, and I encourage you to visit CountertopLicensing.org for accurate information about what ISFA is proposing and why.

Our goal is to protect workers while supporting fabrication businesses committed to safe, responsible operations, regardless of the materials they fabricate.

The public comment deadline is Friday, November 13. Your feedback will help inform ISFA's official submission and ensure fabricators have a voice in the process.

Join us October 21 for a live webinar explaining the proposed language and how to submit your comments. Templates are available in English and Spanish.

Annual Conference: Join Us in Fort Worth!

Our 2026 ISFA Annual Conference, November 3–6, is quickly approaching!

This year's program includes an open industry town hall, meaningful networking opportunities and a powerful firsthand account from a fabrication shop owner living with silicosis.

These are important conversations, and I hope you will join us.

The conference hotel deadline has been extended to Monday, October 19. Please register and reserve your accommodation as soon as possible.

ISFA Membership: Your Association, Your Vote

As we prepare for 2027, eligible members will have the opportunity to vote on Board of Directors elections and proposed bylaw changes.

Our Board includes eight fabricator representatives and three associate partners, ensuring fabrication businesses remain central to ISFA's leadership.

We are also moving our Annual Meeting of Membership online in December to make participation more accessible.

Important: Voting eligibility, including write-in nominations, requires membership dues to be paid in full.

Annual dues are $850 for fabricators and $3,000 for associate partners. To verify your membership status, contact (888) 599-4732 or cash@isfanow.org.
